- Detection/identification of:

- Chemical products (MARPOL II)

- Sewage (MARPOL IV)

- Garbage & plastics (MARPOL V)

- EGCS residue & single-vessel methane (MARPOL VI)

- Attribution of polluter via *vessel spectral signature*

- AI/ML Algorithms to improve timeliness, automation and confidence (false-alert mitigation).

- Operational Boundary & Confidence Assessment for each sensor/use-case.

- Research-to-Operations (R2O) pathway with EMSA/CleanSeaNet & Copernicus maritime surveillance.


Eligibility Highlights

- Consortium must use Copernicus and/or Galileo/EGNOS data (additional sources allowed).

- JRC may join as partner.

- Security-sensitive participation restrictions may apply for non-EU entities (Art. 22 §5 HE).
