3. Eligible R&I Activities (extract of scope)
* Multi-actor, real-life demonstrations (> experimental plot scale) covering the whole on-farm water cycle.
* Comparative testing of alternative water sources (reclaimed, harvested rain/storm, desalinated, aquifer recharge, etc.).
* Business-model innovation (CAPEX/OPEX, cost-benefit, circular revenue streams, tariff design).
* Long-term impact assessments on soil health (incl. microbiome), crop quality, food/feed safety, groundwater & ecosystems.
* Deployment of real-time monitoring & low-cost treatment solutions (e.g. IoT sensors, bio-filters).
* Behavioural, societal and regulatory analysis—SSH integration mandatory.
* Design & testing of policy incentives at regional/your country/EU level.
* Creation of practice-oriented knowledge outputs (demonstration events, videos, factsheets, Horizon Results Booster).
4. Mandatory Features
* Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) – co-creation with farmers, water utilities/tech SMEs, advisors, consumers, public authorities.
* Coverage of diverse pedo-climatic zones, at least one organic farming system.
