What is on Offer?

* Grant Component (Lump-Sum): €0.5 – €2.5 million

* Equity/Quasi-Equity Component: up to €15 million (combined cap of €17.5 million per company when blended with grant)

* Business Acceleration Services: coaching, mentoring, access to corporates, investors and the EIC community.


Key Features

1. Deep-Tech & High-Risk Focus – Targets innovations that build on scientific or technological breakthroughs and require patient capital.

2. TRL Requirement – Technology must be at TRL ≥ 5 (validated in relevant environment) at application.

3. Crowding-In Effect – EIC funding is expected to catalyse further private investment.

4. Geographic Eligibility – Lead applicant must be an SME (or small mid-cap in exceptional scale-up cases) established in an EU Member State or Associated Country. Applicants from your country can apply under the same conditions.

5. Single vs Blended Finance – You may request grant-only, equity-only or blended funding depending on your scale-up needs.
