- Validation campaigns, flight trials, wind-tunnel or laboratory tests, sensor deployments, data collection (incl. access to IAGOS, LIDAR, satellite datasets).

- Coordination & Networking costs, notably with ANCEN, Clean Aviation, EASA, ICAO-CAEP and other EU projects (AEROPLANE, CREATE, ALARM, CLAIM, KAIROS, etc.).

- Open-science, open-data and IPR management, exploitation and standardisation work.

- Dissemination, communication, stakeholder engagement and social-acceptance studies.


3. Eligibility Snapshot

- Consortium: Minimum 3 independent legal entities from 3 different EU or HE-Associated Countries, but successful SESAR RIA consortia usually include 8-15 partners to cover multidisciplinary needs (ATM, climate science, AI, OEMs, ANSPs, airports, airlines, fuel providers, drone/U-space actors, academia, SMEs, NGOs).

- Participation of non-EU/Associated entities: Allowed if funded by own resources or national schemes; US, UK, JP research centres commonly join as *Associated Partners*.
