Gnomon Internships Offer – Funding Overview


What is funded

- Paid industrial internships hosted by Gnomon Informatics SA.

- Hands-on participation in ongoing eHealth, interoperability and digital-health R&D projects.

- Each grant typically covers:

• Monthly trainee allowance (approx. €900 – €1 200 gross, exact figure announced per cut-off).

• Optional relocation lump-sum for non-Thessaloniki residents (up to €400).

• Workplace accident insurance for the entire internship period.

• Access to company training resources and senior-staff mentoring.


Budget envelope

- The scheme is 100 % company-financed; no EU money is involved.

- Seven cut-offs are scheduled (Sep 2025 → Sep 2028) with an expected ~15 interns per cut-off (≈ 105 interns in total).

- No predefined maximum per intern is set; ceilings are disclosed in each cut-off notice.

Eligibility

- Enrolled students or graduates (≤ 12 months) of Bachelor, Master or PhD programmes in:

• Computer Science, Software Engineering, Health Informatics, Data Science, Bio-informatics or related fields.

- Minimum age 18 years.

- EU/EEA or associated-country citizens, or holders of a valid Greek study/work permit.

- Availability for 4–6 months full-time in Thessaloniki (hybrid possible if foreseen by the track).

- One application per cut-off; previously funded interns cannot re-apply.


Compliance highlights

- Internships are employment-type contracts under Greek law (not scholarships).

- Intellectual Property created during the placement belongs to Gnomon unless otherwise agreed.

- Names of selected interns may be published for transparency purposes.


🎯 Objectives

s. This call (as well as the financial support that will be provided through it) is NOT an EU action. This call is launched solely by Gnomon Informatics SA (Gnomon) . The financial support to the selected successful applicants will be provided directly by Gnomon in its own name and under its own responsibility. Gnomon’s own responsibility includes the preparation and drafting of this call as well as the selection of successful applicants that will receive the said financial support. The publication of this call in the EU Funding & Tenders Portal is made solely for information purposes with the aim to increase the visibility of this call to the general public
including to potential applicants (i.e. students). The said publication shall not be construed as direct or indirect approval of the content and conditions of this call by the relevant EU authorities or as any form of waiver from the above-described responsibility of Gnomon. To align with academic cycles and optimize visibility
seven internship calls are planned throughout the project.
